Privacy policy

CivicBinder is an independent New York practice run by Isaiah Kim that prepares small public entities for the Title II web accessibility rule. This policy describes what information we handle and how — plainly, the way we write everything else.

No cookies, no trackers

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, timestamps) for security and operations; we do not use them to identify visitors.

What we collect, and when

Correspondence. If you email us, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you write. We use it to reply, to prepare the report you asked for, and to carry out an engagement — nothing else.

Website scans. Preliminary reports and Readiness Binders are produced by scanning publicly available pages and documents of government websites. They contain only information those sites already make public.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or share your information for marketing. We do not send drip campaigns or add you to lists. Information is shared only with the service providers that make the practice run (email and hosting), and only as needed to operate.

Retention and your choices

Correspondence and delivered reports are kept as ordinary business records. Email hello@civicbinder.org at any time to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and we will do so promptly unless a record must be kept for a delivered engagement.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date. This site is not directed at children, and CivicBinder is not affiliated with the Department of Justice or any government agency.
